Make a livingIn the game
Industry
Fabricate modules, rigs and ships from your own patterns, salvage the wrecks of every fight, and keep the Reach supplied.
The Reach’s ships and guns are made by pilots. Buy a master pattern, tune it in a lab, fabricate from minerals and salvage at a station’s industry slots, and sell what you make on the market. Jobs run in real time, whether you’re online or not.

What you do
- 01
Patterns
Register a sealed master pattern into your pattern vault and run it forever, or print it into single-run prints to use, sell or hand to your syndicate.
- 02
Lab jobs
Yield tuning cuts the minerals a pattern needs, speed tuning cuts its build time, one grade at a time from 0 to 10. Tuning and printing share your lab jobs.
- 03
Fabrication
Fabricate modules, charges, rigs and ships from minerals, salvage and a few hub-bought goods. Hubs have the most industry slots; a held system’s Foundry makes jobs faster.
- 04
Salvage
Fit a Salvager, lock a wreck and strip it: alloy scrap, burned relays, scorched plating and fused circuitry, and Choir lattice from Choir wrecks. Every ship wreck can be salvaged once.
- 05
Rigs
Permanent hull changes with a price: more armor for less speed, more cargo for less armor, more damage for less reactor. Up to three, and removing one destroys it. Only pilots make them.
- 06
Schematics
Prototype schematics from data caches still turn a standard module into its named variant.
