Doctrinewhat the Charter knows

Vorr builds the Dray, the Prospector and the Ark, plus most of the armor, engines and mining gear that keep the Reach running.

Its foremen hire any pilot who can bring ore home, and pay well for anyone who can bring more of it.

  • GreetingKell. Foreman. Vorr Heavy runs this rock, and I run Vorr's quota. You here to work or sightsee?
  • OfferRefinery's starving. Bring me ore by the hold-load and Vorr pays fair. Fair-ish.
  • Offer 2I need Silvanite, and plenty of it. Point your Pick-2 at a rock and don't come back light.
  • AcceptGood. Lasers on, mouth shut, cargo full. That's the whole job.

  • CompleteNow that's a full hold. You'd make a half-decent rock hound.
  • Complete 2Quota's met. Smelter's singing again. Go get yourself something greasy.
  • AbandonQuitting on me? Fine. The rock'll still be here. So will I.
  • FailQuota's lapsed. My smelter went cold waiting on you. Don't let it happen twice.
  • FarewellMind the debris on your way out. And wipe your boots.

mining
  • GreetingGranick. Vorr Deep Claims. Out here we mine Voidstone and bury the stubborn. Which are you?
  • OfferVoidstone, by the hold. It pays better than anything in the Reach, because almost nobody comes back with it.
  • Offer 2My last crew got spooked by the Choir. I need someone with nerve to fill the quota.
  • AcceptKeep your Scope clear and your engines warm. When the singing starts, you leave.

  • CompleteFull hold of Voidstone. You've got more nerve than my last three crews put together.
  • Complete 2Quota met. Vorr pays its debts, even out here. Especially out here.
  • AbandonPulling out. Smart, maybe. The Void doesn't reward pride.
  • FailQuota's lapsed. I'll write it off with the others.
  • FarewellGo on. Don't look at the gates too long.
