Before your first undock you choose how your story starts. Each origin is a short, voiced opening of about two minutes that you play alone. It decides where you wake up and who already knows your name. You can skip it at any point.

What you do
- 01
Graduation Flight
Fly the Warden cadet exam: three rings, formation on Sergeant Holloway’s wing and a slip home, then a graduation pass while Commander Varga reads the roll with your name on it.
- 02
Signal
In Morrow, launch your first probes and narrow down a looping four-note signal. It leads to a dead cruiser with a Choir mark burned into its hull, still transmitting nine years on. You start with a probe launcher, and Sister Vey takes an interest.
- 03
The Debt
Mother Kask says you owe her 40,000 lumen. Run a sealed crate past a Warden scan sweep in Kestrel, then choose: pay Kask, or turn yourself in. Either way, someone remembers.

It follows you
Your origin sets your first standings, your home station and the agents who already care what you do next.
